Kelley and Aaron had the most beautiful day for their wedding at Lakeview Farms Events in Dover, PA. After a nice and slow morning of everyone getting ready, we stepped out and found the most beautiful pink and purple flowers on the trees surrounding the Lakeview Farms house. The colors matched perfectly with Kelley’s flowers and bridesmaids dresses. Another plus was that we had an overcast afternoon. I know a lot of people think that a bright sunny day is the most ideal day for photos, but actually overcast is perfect! With an overcast day we can utilize so many different places that we may not be able to do with it being bright and sunny. I try not to make my couples stare directly into the sun because then they end up squinting horribly in their photographs! But, back to Kelley and Aaron. We found the most beautiful tree to use for the Kelley’s side of the bridal party and her portraits. I absolutely loved her wedding dress!
After the ceremony we found a few more beautiful spots for some full bridal party portraits. Everywhere on the property was gorgeous! And of course around sunset time we were able to go out and use the lake for some more couple portraits. Congratulations again Kelley and Aaron! It was so special to be a part of your day as your wedding photographer.
