Amy and Vincent met each other all the way back in middle school and were high school sweethearts. After Amy graduated from West Virginia University and moved back home, Vincent planned a fancy dinner out in Gettysburg, PA…I would continue to tell their story, but I think Amy’s version is better!

“Then we went home and he proposed on my front porch before we went home. I knew he had already gotten a ring at this point but I still wasn’t expecting it. It was perfect though. I never wanted anything public or big, just from the heart.”

These two tied the knot in Gettysburg at the United Methodist Church and celebrated at the local Wyndham!

I was able to get to know Amy through working at my local middle school (where she also works!) and when April rolled around, I couldn’t believe how fast time flew and it was officially her and Vincent’s wedding month! After their ceremony, we drove right down the street to Gettysburg College and took portraits with beautiful spring blooms. It was a perfectly warm spring day, (a high of 80 for early April?!), and we had so much fun hanging out with everyone who came to celebrate! The best man and maid of honor gave the BEST speeches and had everyone laughing and reminiscing on the years Amy and Vincent have spent together. A big hit at the reception was the cookie table (search for the pictures below!) where there had to be hundreds of cookies for guests to take as favors. We were snatching photos while people were filling up their boxes!

I could continue on about how awesome their wedding day was, but photos do a better job! Enjoy some (more like tons) of my favorites!
