My first wedding of 2018 was THE BEST! I met Jessica a little over a year ago when I photographed her and her sisters for some family Christmas photos, so when she reached out about photographing her wedding I was so excited! I most definitely freaked out a little when she let me know they were planning their wedding in an art museum!
This past fall we met up down in Baltimore by the American Visionary Art Museum and Federal Hill Park for their engagement session and I got to hear more about her and Ben’s plans for their wedding and meet their super sweet pup Louie (make sure you scroll the whole way through so you can see their cake topper because Louie was included!).
We had so much fun their whole wedding day and were super sad to leave. We started our day at The Royal Sonesta and headed over to the museum for their adorable first look and portraits up on the top of the hill.
Jessica’s uncle performed their ceremony and their vows were definitely my favorite part! They both talked about the things that they would always do for each other. When I asked Ben afterwards how they came up with their vows he said her uncle provided them with a questionnaire that asked their favorite things about each other and such, and then he put them together for them to read. It was the first time I had heard vows like that and I loved it! Such a brilliant idea and it helped decrease Jess & Ben’s stresses about coming up with vows on their own.
Congratulations again Jess & Ben! It was such a wonderful day and I’m so thankful that I was able to document and be a part of it!
