I got up super early one April morning and drove over an hour to get to the Hershey Gardens to hang out with Ashley and Ryan! I felt like my drive was a little rough, but they drove from North Carolina the night before for their engagement photos!
Ashley’s grandmother volunteers at the Gardens and it was the perfect backdrop for their session. It was SO cold outside, even though you can’t tell by how happy and joyful these two were in all of their photos. Luckily, we had the place (outdoors) almost entirely to ourselves and about every 10 to 15 minutes we ran inside the education center to warm up! My favorite part was that after we had enough of the cold, Ashley and Ryan changed, and we headed into the Butterfly Atrium for more pictures.
It was a little more busy, and SO much more warm inside than outside but the volunteers told us so much information about butterflies and moths, and even the random little creatures they had placed around. It was truly magical! I had been wanting to visit the Butterfly Atrium at some point, and it did not disappoint. The butterflies were huge and had little to no fear of humans, so they flew around and landed anywhere.
So excited for their fall wedding in Mechanicsburg! For now, here are some of my favorites!
