Nicole and Lucas are such sweet and down to earth people! When I got to the house to photograph Nicole getting ready, she was just hanging out, not seeming the least bit stressed. Every single person at their wedding was so kind and welcoming to us!
One of the most emotional parts of the day was the daddy daughter dance. Nicole’s dad had passed away a few years ago, so she had 4 men who represented father figures for her, come up and spend a minute or so dancing with her. All while this was happening, a beautiful slideshow was running in the background of photographs of her, her dad, and her family. It was SUCH a sweet and emotional moment. Shortly after, Nicole got up on stage with her ladies and “serenaded” Lucas and danced to a choreographed routine.
Their venue, Strock’s Enterprises never disappoints! The barn is beautiful, along with the property, and the adorable wild flower field. It was perfect for some bride and groom portraits! OH! I can’t forget the car that Nicole rode to the venue in! The same car Lucas’ grandparent’s left their wedding in – a ’39 Chevy!
